Fishing in Loviisa (Pernajanlahti) and Porvoo archipelago

• The Gulf of Pernajanlahti is located in the Gulf of Finland, off the coast of Pernaja (now part of the municipality of Pernaja, part of Loviisa). It consists of a large bay and several smaller bays and islands. The area is varied - large backwaters, sheltered coves, shallow shores, reed beds and reefs.

Typical species of fish on guided tours

• Perch - common catch, in spring and summer near reed beds, when the water cools down on rocks and in streams

• Pike - in grassy coves and shallow banks, especially in spring and autumn.

• Pike: on harder clay bottoms and near rocks, especially in summer and autumn.

• Sea trout: in spring on sunny southern beaches, in summer near the outer sea sloughs and in autumn, when the waters cool down, on sandy shallow beaches and near skull coves.

What is included in the price?

What is not included in the price

• Fishing fees (fishing permits) are not included in the price of the excursion. The easiest way to get them is directly from eraluvat.fi. Everyone between 18 and 70 years old is obliged to pay a fishing fee if they intend to fish, except for people born before 1959. If necessary, we can pay the participants a fishing fee, in which case we charge a licence fee of 6 Eur/day and an office fee of 15Eur/group. If you want us to take care of the fishing fee, we need the names and dates of birth of the participants by email to info@trophyfishing.fi at least 24h before the trip.

• Snacks are not included in the price of the trip

How to book?

• Be prepared with weather appropriate outdoor clothing and comfortable flat-soled shoes. Remember that it is always cooler at sea than on land. In addition, dry weather at sea can make it chilly, so it's best to take this into account when dressing.

• Alternatively, we can provide participants with rainwear in summer and buoyancy suits that are warm and retain water in cold weather. Please let us know your equipment needs 24h before the trip by emailing info@trophyfishing.fi

• Meals are not included in the price of the trip, you can order your own meals for the fishing day through us or bring your own lunch. If the trip lasts longer than 4 hours, it is recommended to stop by the island for a fire and enjoy a picnic meal or to fry your own sausages and boil your own coffee.

• If you decide to order a meal, we need to be informed at least 24h before the excursion, please let us know if you have any allergies.

• If you have any health restrictions, please let us know in advance so that we can make the necessary arrangements and take them into account when planning the outing.
